How to Make Facebook Ads SO Good They Beg You to Buy

Most Facebook ads feel like ads and 99% of the time people scroll right past that ad in a split second because who willingly wants to watch an advertisement? But the ads that convert like crazy, the ads that drive ridiculous return on ad spend, super low CPA, those ads

0:17

do something different. They feel personal. They feel like they are specifically talking to you, solving your problem that maybe you didn't even know you had. They use four triggers to convince you to buy before you even realize it and before you even know the cost of the

0:33

product so in the next few minutes i'm going to walk you through each one of these triggers show you how they work and how you can set these up in your own ads to practically get people to beg for your products first things first let's define what a good ad actually is it's an ad that scales

0:50

End is at your efficiency metric. Facebook ads looks for basically two things. They first look for ads that have the ability to actually spend a lot of money, meaning they can reach a lot of people and stay stable. Second, they're looking for that same ad, ideally, to be able to hit your efficiency metric so that you can continue to spend more and more and more against it. The ultimate goal of Facebook ads is to spend as much money as possible. And as you on the other side of that, you want to make as much money as possible.

1:14

So you want to favor the machine to spend and spend and spend and spend, but you also need the output of revenue, revenue, revenue, revenue. Now that revenue can come in a couple different ways. It can come through leads, it can come through sales, it can come through inquiries, booked calls, et cetera. The most important thing we understand here is we are putting dollars into the machine to get an output. Every good ad, every hitting ad,

1:36

all the ads we're talking about right now that follow these four steps, they all are focused on scaling and hitting your metric. We are not trying to create ads that drive one purchase at a 10X ROAS. We're trying to create ads that are sustainable, that grow like crazy. These kinds of ads are the ads that take a business from a couple hundred thousand dollars to

1:56

multiple millions of dollars over the course of just a few months and while everybody talks about creative volume being so important and that you have to have thousands and thousands of ads pouring into your ad account what really matters is the quality of those ads and the hit rate of those ads so for this entire video we're focused on ads that are going to have the highest hit rate so even if you just create one of them you are more likely to win than creating a dozen

2:21

crappy ads, which leads us into our very first trigger and element of an incredible scaling ad. We have to talk to the avatar. See, everybody now understands the Andromeda era is here. And essentially this era focuses on concepts and ads that match our

2:38

our audience is. The ads do the targeting. So when we call out the avatar in the ad specifically, we get two advantages. The first advantage we get is the targeting automatically takes whomever we're talking to and shows it to that person. And the targeting has completely changed ever since Andromeda. See, Facebook ads used to work like this, where you would target your audience and make a bunch of ads for that audience. You would choose that audience at the ad set level, and then you would build those ads individually.

3:06

inside of that ad set. Your account would eventually look like this, where you had dozens of different audiences and dozens of different ads inside attacking each of these audiences. Every time you had a new ad that was relevant to that audience, you basically just add it in. And then Facebook moved to a concept matching to audiences algorithm. This is better known as the Andromeda algorithm that everybody understands where creative is the targeting. So the first element of every single good ad is it talks directly to a singular audience.

3:34

avatar. I'm going to break down exactly what we say in just a few moments here, but if you start from any other place, you are going to fall behind. You need to make sure that the avatar is at the tippy top of the thought process for what kind of ads you're making, who you're talking to in your ads, how you're going to position your ads and everything else that falls underneath the avatar. You do not start from offer. You do not start from product. You start from avatar, which leads me to element number two problems. Every single good ad

4:01

talks about the problems that this unique avatar has. And the reason that this is so critical is because your avatar is literally doing the targeting for you. And when you call out the problems that this avatar has, Facebook literally sends that traffic to people that look like the avatar you're talking about and have the actual problem that your avatar has. To keep this all really straightforward, let's start to use some examples. Okay, so the avatar we're talking about here is actually really simple.

4:29

It's 30 plus males and females that are dealing with hair loss. And for this example, we're using grooms. They actually target this exact avatar, 30 plus ish male and female dealing with hair loss. They target this as a unique angle for their ads.

4:45

Now, the good news is when you define your avatar, you're actually naturally going to be defining your problem with that avatar. So in this case, we have the 30 plus male female dealing with hair loss. Guess what the problem is? Hair loss. That's the core problem. The other problem is they've used

5:00

other supplements. None of these supplements have worked. So none work. They want to avoid hard drugs. Like they don't want to take anything serious. They just want to take something that's easy, maybe holistic. They don't want to go to the doctor for this. They want to do this privately, personally. They don't want to really change up their whole life for this. They're not looking for a hair transplant. They're not looking for anything too expensive, right? So then maybe they're price sensitive.

5:21

And we could probably sit here for the next hour and think of a hundred different problems that the male and female 30 plus that's dealing with hair loss has. Because there's a hundred sub problems underneath here. Now, the key part of this is each of these problems poses to a unique person because not the same person and same avatar resonates with

5:42

every single one of these problems. For example, let's say if I was dealing with this, I might just feel like I've tried other supplements and none of them work. This is my core problem that I need solved. Or I might just want to say, hey, I'm just not a person who wants to take serious drugs. I'm willing to take vitamins, but I don't want to do anything serious that's going to interact anywhere else in my body. If there's something that's

5:59

easy for me to take, I'm down to take it. And in this case for grooms, they've positioned themselves accordingly. So once we've listed our problems, I think you could probably guess what the next step is, but it's not as simple as just solutions. It's going to be unique mechanisms that lead to the solution. Obviously the solution in this case is going to be your product. Now your product is not

6:20

enough to just write as the solution we can't just say hey if you have hair loss you just take this product it's all going to get better we need to showcase what the unique mechanism for this problem and solution are that's going to kill all of these objections the more objections we kill the wider our targeting gets the more impact we're going to have but what's most important is that our objections are deep not shallow they're quality objections so once we have our problems

6:49

we start to build a list of our unique mechanism for the solution. This applies to every product in the world. Even if you're a fashion brand, even if you're a makeup brand, it doesn't matter. You are doing something. You're either giving people confidence, you're solving something in particular, whatever it is, you are solving something. No one buys any single product without there being a solution to some desire that they have.

7:12

You're solving desires. You're solving problems. So the real solution that gets someone drawn in from your ad is not just to say my product solves this problem. It's to say that my product solves this problem through a unique mechanism. In very simple words, solution times unique mechanism equals money. You need to showcase the uniqueness

7:34

unique thing that your product does in particular to then make the absolute no brainer decision in the purchaser's mind that this is the only unique way that my problem is going to be solved. So if I was trying to solve back pain for construction workers, well, first off, we know that my avatar is my construction worker and my problem is back pain, right? Very simply put, this is a very clearly defined problem and

8:00

And now our solution, let's just say it's a back brace, back brace. So we've back pain. We're specifically solving for construction workers. And then we have a back brace that is specifically designed to do something. You guessed it unique. So instead of just talking to construction workers that have back pain and saying that we've made a back brace that you can use, which they can go get on Amazon, we need to call out the specific unique mechanisms or components or product features that they're

8:27

this back brace has over all other back braces. How do you avoid someone just going on Amazon, clicking buy now and having it shipped to them in 24 hours for a cheaper price? You do that by explaining your unique mechanism. I don't know this back brace, but let's just say, hey, down here we have special tightening straps that adjust. These are dynamic straps.

8:48

straps. Guess what? Unique mechanism is dynamic straps. And let's also say there's a second unique mechanism. Like maybe these straps up here are made of something special. Like they're made of like copper, something that also at the same time helps with like inflammation or something. We are literally finding the unique parts of our product. Think about why you've literally created your product, what it does uniquely, why it's better and call it out.

9:13

Once you start to do this, what you do is you grow desire. So this starts to look more and more and more narrow. And actually you are hitting the problems that your avatar has more and more and more.

9:27

When we think about back pain for construction workers, we now have a problem we've identified, a solution for them, and a unique solution that is only applicable to our product. Meaning if you're ever going to buy a back brace, you're going to buy our back brace because it does these things better than everybody else. Now, the fourth element of every single ad is what ties it all together. Before I tell you that element, I just want to give you an

9:49

option. Everything that I'm teaching you right now, I've had laid out step by step inside of my school community for months already. So not only would you be way ahead of the curve, but you probably would have made ads like I'm explaining here months and months ago. All the alpha that I get from the hundred plus clients that we work

10:06

with at the Moonlighters is always inside of school.com slash Facebook. And if you're just like, dude, I don't want to do any of this. Can you please do it for me? You could always apply to work with us. There's a link down in the description or go to the moonlighters.com slash apply. Leading us into number four, the final piece of every incredible ad, every scalable ad is the offer. Now, I know when I say offer nine out of 10 people just think about discounts, but this is really all I'm talking about when I talk about an offer. It's the value exchange, the timing and the risk pro

10:34

profile. You could treat each three of these elements of a truly good offer in a hundred different ways. You can discount if that's what's going to tie it all together, if that's easier for you, but you could also increase value of product, or you could change timing, or you can change risk profile, or you can do all of them. The best brands in the world do all of them.

10:53

Timing could be something like, hey, if you do not get a result in 30 days, you get your money back. Risk profile could be associated to the same guarantee. So you could tie these together. Timing could also be like, you're going to get this in two days. You're going to feel better in seven days. Next week, if you don't feel better, we'll refund you all your money. Value exchange could be something as simple as, hey,

11:12

We're going to do a buy two, get one. When you do something like a buy two, get one, instead of a, hey, 30% off, let's just say you sold your product for $100 and it cost you $30 to fulfill that product, right? So you turn $30 into 100 every time you sold. If someone bought two of your product, which would be buy two, get one free, they would effectively have a cart value of $200. And let's say you did a 20% discount, right? So you had 20% on that. Now, if you did a 20% discount on 200, you are giving $40 in value

11:38

You're taking minus $40 in discount to this brand. 20% off is given all the time. So many brands do this. But instead, if we did a buy two, get one free, the same exact thing happens, except they pay $200. And instead of getting two products for $100 each two products, they're actually getting $300 worth of value. And it's only costing you minus $100.

12:00

$30 to fulfill that additional product. Think about it like that. So when you set up your offers in a way that actually benefits the consumer just as much as it benefits you, everybody wins. You feel like a giving brand, a giving business instead of a business that's always leeching, always discounting, never exclusive. I understand this stuff is advanced. If you do it right, you're leaps and bounds of your competitors.

12:23

This is one of those videos that is legitimately the sauce. These are the things we do for the businesses that we work with that when implemented properly,

12:31

crush. So I hope everybody got a ton of value out of this video. And if you like this style of video, high level stuff, let me know. I'm always happy to make more of it. I love this stuff so much. Also, if you want to check out my full campaign structure, what we're doing now in 2026, which has some modifiers to it, then click this video right here where I go through everything A to Z. That's all for today. I'll see you very soon.
