There is a thought in the Word of God in the book of Zechariah. Zechariah 4:6. The Word of God says in Zechariah 4:6, "Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, 'This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, who says, 'Not by army, nor by force,

but with my Spirit, the said Jehovah of the armies. Let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for being with us. Thank you, Lord, for the company of the angels. Thank you for the presence and the direction of the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Father, for giving us Jesus. At this hour, Lord, we ask your blessing on the brothers and sisters

We also ask for your blessing over all those who follow us, wherever we are on earth. Prepare us, Lord, to receive your blessed word. And now we ask that the Holy Spirit bring us the word of life for eternal life. May we not receive the word of man, but the word of Jehovah, who lives and remains forever. Enhance us and enable us to be in his presence.

And do in us and with us your will, Lord, we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen. We are working with the series "The Holy Spirit Today" and the title for this occasion is "The Holy Spirit and the Seal." When we study the Bible, we discover that the seal is a capital issue, very important in the experience of the people of God.

When we go to the book of Ezekiel, we see the story of a seal. When we go to the book of Revelation, we see another seal story. And when we study the book of Ephesians, we discover answers that have to do with the seal. In the present delivery, we will see Ezekiel chapter 9 and also Revelation chapter 7.

When you study the book of Ezekiel, you discover, number one, that Ezekiel is from the priestly family and that he was taken captive to Tel Aviv during the second incursion of Nebuchadnezzar in Jerusalem, the people of God. He was 25 years old when he was taken captive to Babylon, to the city of Tel Aviv. Five years later, God calls him to the prophetic work.

When you read Ezekiel's book, you discover some interesting profiles. One of them is the beautiful way God treats his people despite having sinned. Nabuchodonosor's invasion was the result of the apostasy of the people. When you read Ezekiel's book, you discover that the situation was so critical, so frightening,

that the problem of sin and apostasy had touched, that is, here in chapter 22, the princes of Israel. The apostasy had also sadly and sadly reached the priests, the prophets, and the whole people in general. It was a difficult situation. While Daniel was taken to Babylon,

While Jeremiah is in Jerusalem, Ezekiel is taken to Tel Aviv, and there in Tel Aviv the Holy Spirit manifests himself. We have said more than once that Ezekiel's book is a pneumatology, that is, a study of the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is shown to Ezekiel in such a glorious way that in chapter 1 and chapter 8 Ezekiel sees the Holy Spirit sitting on his throne.

In chapter 9 of Ezekiel, a scene of judgment is presented.

When you look at the book, chapter by chapter, you discover again and again the presence of the Holy Spirit, as we studied in a previous topic, entitled "The Holy Spirit, the Key" or "The Key, the Holy Spirit." Now we need to look at some details of chapter 9 to understand the importance of sealing.

The sealing was so important for the time of Ezekiel that when we look at the details now, we will notice that those who had been sealed escaped the problem of destruction. But those who were not sealed then were destroyed. In our time, in the present time, we are precisely now in a sealing period.

and those who are not sealed then when Jesus comes they will be completely lost no matter how many religions they have been. Sealing is a capital matter, a matter of life or death. You can not, if you are a Christian, ignore the issue of sealing. When we go to the book of Ezekiel in chapter 9 we discover the whole story

Ezequiel 9, verse 1, to verse 11. But we're going to divide the chapter into the corresponding sections to make it easier to know, understand, and understand. In chapter 9, verse 1, verse 2, and verses 5 to 10, they talk about the executioners.

Some call them visitors, says one version. Other versions say artisans. The word and the truth is that they are people who come to destroy. They are destructive angels. Ezekiel, chapter 9, verse 1 and verse 2, says the Bible, "...he cried out in my ears with a loud voice, saying, The executioners of the city have arrived."

"And he called out to the man in linen, who had the tinted robe of a scribe on his waist." Remember, in chapter 1, verse 27, in chapter 8, verse 2 and verse 3, it appears that the Holy Spirit is seated on his throne. "From his waist down, fire; from his waist up, he shines like bronze."

Under the throne there is a platform, and under the platform there are cherubim, angels with four wings, and they have four faces. That is why this verse says, And it says in chapter 9, verse 4, And Jehovah said to him,

When you study Isaiah 24-27, you find the section that has to do with the biblical apocalyptic. It says, And when you look carefully at what Isaiah 24-27 says, it has to do, eschatologically, with the end time, the final day, Jimen.

We find the same word in Proverbs 29, verse 2. And also the same word appears in Lamentations 1, verse 4. And to those who suffer, who gime, in the time of Ezekiel, they sealed them. They felt pain for the spiritual situation of the people of God.

And if they were moaning, if they suffered from that spiritual situation, then we deduce that they were calling on Jehovah for grace and mercy. And I say, praise the name of God. When you compare the chapter 9 of Ezekiel with the chapter 7 of the book of Revelation, you discover a difference.

Apocalypse chapter 7, verse 2, verse 3.

There was a sealing scene and now in our time there is also a sealing scene. Revelation chapter 7 verse 2 and 3 says the second: "I also saw another angel who was rising from where the sun rises and had the seal of the living God."

Now there is a sealing process.

If you are called a Christian, you must know, understand and understand this because it is about life or death. If you are not sealed, if you do not receive the seal of God, then you are in serious trouble. We also need to discover who is the seal of God. Look, do not ask what the seal of God is, but who is the seal of God, and we will see it in a moment.

There is a definition about this sealing process that has impacted and impressed my life since I was a teenager. In one of our books, the books of our church, in the Adventist Bible Commentary, page 1183, look at what an interesting definition of sealing. Sealing is an affirmation of the truth

Saturday is what seals the law of God.

When we continue looking in the Bible, we find something interesting. If you look at Ephesians chapter 1, verse 13 and verse 14, it shows that in addition to being the seal, the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of salvation.

Verse 13 says, "And you too, having heard the true word, the gospel of your salvation, and having believed in it, were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise." I'm reading Ephesians 1:13. Verse 14, "That is the seal of our inheritance, until the redemption of the possession acquired, for the advancement of His glory." It is the seal, it is the one that shows that you are property of God.

who seals us with God? With the Holy Spirit. Who is the seal of God? The Holy Spirit. Who do we need to receive? The Holy Spirit. In this sealing process, it is expected, it is understood, that every Christian is anointed or anointed with the Holy Spirit. And that sealing consists in an affirmation of the truth, both

as spiritually. Now, if it is true that you received Jesus, if it is true that you surrendered to Jesus, if it is true that salvation was achieved in Christ Jesus, then the Holy Spirit begins a work in you.

The same Lord Jesus explained it in John chapter 3. In John chapter 3, Christ explains it to Nicodemus. And Nicodemus, as if he did not understand. In John chapter 3, Jesus says it in such a beautiful way, and in such a profound way. Look at how lovely it is. Look at how lovely it is. He says in John chapter 3, verse 3 to 8, says the Lord Jesus. Jesus answered and said to him,

There are places when you buy an appliance, you buy certain things, and they ask you, do you want to put a guarantee on it? Yes, I want to put the guarantee on it. And then you pay a little money and they give you a card that represents the guarantee. If the product is damaged,

You can go and retrieve a new product. It got damaged before time. They check, they look at the guarantee, and they change it, and they put it on, and they give you a new product. Jesus Christ is salvation, and the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of salvation.

This matter of the Spirit is capital. This matter of the Spirit is urgent. One of the most careless issues in the history of the Christian Church is the life and work of the Holy Spirit. One of the topics that people mention less, speak less, study less, learn less, is the life and work of the Holy Spirit. It is shameful, lamentable and sad how the vast majority of Christians ignore the Holy Spirit.

and some not only ignore it, but attack, accuse, and want to make it disappear. The Father is a divine person, the Son is a divine person, and the Holy Spirit is a divine person. That the Father is sitting on his throne is true. You see it in Daniel chapter 7, you see it in Isaiah chapter 6, that Jesus Christ has his throne is true. Revelation chapter 3 verse 21,

Hebrews chapter 1 verse 8, but the Holy Spirit has his throne, it is also true. Ezekiel chapter 1 verse 27, Ezekiel chapter 8 verse 2, verse 3. Everything the Father can do, the Son can do, but the Holy Spirit can also do it. How is it that we ignore the Spirit of God so much? When Christ left the earth, he says, "You should let me go."

Because if I do not leave, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I leave, he will come. My Father will send him, and I will send him. Jesus Christ speaks of a divine person, like the Father, like him. The Spirit comes to be in front of the church. And how is it possible that there is so much ignorance of the Spirit of God? The Holy Spirit is the seal of God that identifies that we reach salvation and life eternal in Christ Jesus. The Spirit is what changes and transforms us.

We need to learn to walk in the Spirit and not just in the flesh. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us. As Jesus said, when he comes, he will guide you to all the truth. There are many things, Jesus said, that I want to tell you, but you are not prepared. But when he comes, he will take from me and he will teach you. The Spirit will complete what I could not achieve. He will do according to what has to be done. The key person in all this business is the Holy Spirit.

And how is this ignorance of the Spirit of God possible? Ignorance. Meat versus Spirit. In the book of Romans, chapter 8, verse 14, it says, Because all who are guided by the Spirit of God, these are children of God. If it is true that you are being sealed or sealed, then the Holy Spirit guides you. You are not with a lottery, nor are you guessing. The Spirit guides you.

Verse 38,

If we are guided by the Spirit, if we are walking in the Spirit, then we are not living in the flesh, but we are living in the Spirit. And that is the commitment of Paul in Romans, chapter 8, to explain flesh versus spirit.

Someone wrote that if the whole Bible is lost and there is only the book of Romans, it is enough to explain salvation. The same person says that if the book of Romans disappears and the only chapter of the entire Bible that remains is Romans 8, it is enough to know and surrender to Christ Jesus. Look at how beautiful it is.

Romans chapter 8, verse 2 to 9. Be careful, the masterly way as Paul explains this, flesh versus spirit. Remember, we are working with the series, The Holy Spirit Today. We are with the topic, The Holy Spirit and the seal. The Holy Spirit and the seal.

Paul says in Galatians 6:7-8, "Do not be deceived, for God cannot be mocked. For all that man sows, he will also sow. Ask yourself, my friend, ask yourself, brother or sister, what are you sowing? Paul says in verse 6,

Because to take care of the flesh is death, but to take care of the spirit is life and peace. Because the designations of the flesh are enmity against God, because they are not subject to the law of God, nor can they. If you are living in the flesh, you are an appearance of Christianity. If you are living in the flesh, you are a liar and false person.

If you are living in the flesh, you can pretend everything you want. If you are living in the flesh, remember, you can deceive yourself for a while, deceive others for a long time, but you will never deceive everyone all the time. There comes a time when the matter is made known, the fruits are born, or from the flesh and the Spirit. Sealing is a serious matter and is being carried out at this moment.

And those who live according to the flesh cannot please God, Romans 8, 8 says. They cannot please God. God cannot enjoy a life of flesh, a carnal life. And it says now, But you do not live according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit, if it is that the Spirit of God dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, it is not his.

A person who is completely an enemy of God, completely opposed to God, completely rejected, rejects God, does not want anything to do with God, is one thing. But a person who lives for God is another story. What is your life, friend, sister, brother, sister? What is your experience in front of God?

I like the Bible because it answers the concerns and clarifies the points so that we serve God as He deserves. And I like how the Apostle Paul does it. I am fascinated by how Paul does it. Meat versus spirit. Either we live in the flesh or we live in the spirit. Romans chapter 8 says,

Pablo continues to clarify this matter, flesh versus spirit. If you are being sealed or sealed, you are living in the Spirit, you are growing in the Spirit, you are navigating in the Spirit, you are going through that river of life of the Holy Spirit.

Romans chapter 8, verse 11, says Paul, And if the spirit of the one who raised from the dead Jesus dwells in you, the one who raised from the dead Jesus Christ will also live your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwells in you. It cannot be hidden, it cannot be hidden when you are anointed, anointed with the spirit of God.
