The two best cold wallets in the world are Ledger and Trezor. They are also the two cold wallets with the highest price on the internet. In order to make this video, I bought a Trezor cold wallet to try it out. I hope I can share my experience with you.

Your cryptocurrency, no matter what kind, is stored on the blockchain. If you want to use the cryptocurrency on the blockchain, whether it's to transfer money to others or transfer to the exchange, you need a password called Private Key. This password is like the key to the safe. Many people will think that your cold wallet is used to store the cryptocurrency itself.

So before you sign any transaction, you need to manually confirm the approval of the transaction on your cold wallet. If the cold wallet itself is taken away or lost, it still has a lot of defense and recovery mechanisms. I will talk about specific details later in the video. This is why I started using cold wallets after I started investing in encrypted currency. I also recommend everyone to use it. If you are like me, planning to hold encrypted currency for a long time, this is the safest way.

Alright, enough talking, let's get started. First, check the package before you open it. Make sure it's not opened. Whether it's Ledger or Trezor, they all have this label to prevent people from opening it. If you find that it's already opened, you need to contact the customer service immediately. They will send you a new one. This is to ensure that the wallet is not dropped or pointed into malicious software. So I recommend that you buy online. Don't buy on Amazon, Shopee or Taobao.

Don't buy second-hand products. There is no second-hand market for this kind of thing. I have put the link of official website in the description box below the video. You can check it out yourself. After opening the package, the first step is to download and install their official computer software. The instructions say where the download website is. Don't accidentally download the non-official website. Whether you use Ledger or Trezor, you can download their computer version of software from their official website.

After downloading, you can start setting up your new cold wallet. Before you start, make sure there's no one around you. Don't do this in the public space. You also need to wait for your girlfriend to go out and do this. The first setup here is using a cold wallet. Leisure and Treasure are basically the same. Just follow the instructions on its app and the instructions to walk step by step. Basically, the first step is to update your wallet's identity. Then set up a password for your wallet.

The key is the password you need to enter when you open your wallet. Just like the password for your phone. It's not the most important part of the setup process, but you need to choose a number that others don't know. Try to avoid the number of birthdays or girlfriends' birthdays. The next step is the most important step of the whole wallet. It's setting up your recovery seed phrase. If you're using Trezor, this step will be before you set up the key. It's the opposite of the setting of Ledger.

So this set of short words relates to the security of your crypto in your cold wallet. Here I suggest you copy this set of C-Face on the paper it is attached to. Check three times and you didn't copy it wrong. The order is very important. Never put this C-Face in the computer or the photo on your phone. If you do this, you will completely lose the meaning of the cold wallet itself. Because this C-Face can be used to find the private key of all your crypto.

So even if your cold wallet is broken or missing, you can immediately find all your private keys and move them to a new cold wallet. Another thing worth mentioning is that this C-Phrase has nothing to do with the brand itself. Whether you use Ledger, Trezor, or other cold wallets, they are all built with BIP39 specifications.

So as long as your C-First is safe, your encrypted currency will be safe. On the contrary, if someone gets your C-First, they can steal your encrypted currency in your cold wallet. This is why you have to copy it on paper and put it in a place where others can't find it. In addition, it must not be stored on a software that controls the password. This is why Elon Musk once said on Twitter to avoid any private key wallets.

You also need to make sure the paper is safe. If your machine is broken and you can't find your Seafrace, you can basically say goodbye to them. If you want to increase the safety of Seafrace, you can also buy their plastic bags on Ledger or Trezor's website. It looks pretty cool and feels very textured, but I don't think it's necessary. It's pretty safe to copy it on paper unless you have a home that smokes. After all the above steps are done, basically your new cold wallet is set up.

If you are using Ledger, you need to install the corresponding app for each kind of encrypted currency. The interface is also very simple. You can see the specific usage of each kind of encrypted currency on the official website. For example, the Bitcoin app supports Ledger Live. You can find your public key directly on the interface of Ledger Live. Then transfer your Bitcoin from the exchange to this public key. Some of the Terra blockchains, such as Luna and UST, Ledger Live does not support.

But you can also download their Terra app. Your private key is also stored in Ledger's wallet. But you may need a third party interface to manage your wallet. For example, Terra Station is the official interface. After you have downloaded Terra's app, open it and enter Terra Station. Choose to use Ledger's wallet to log in. Because Ledger Live doesn't support Terra, we need to use Terra Station's interface.

Note that my private key is still in Ledger, not on the computer. If you want to use Anchor protocol, you can also use the wallet of Terra Station. Because we have already used Ledger to log into Terra Station, we can log in immediately. Note that if you want to use Anchor, remember to download the Terra Station plugin from Chrome. If you used Terra Station's mobile wallet before, and want to transfer your AUST or LUNA token to your cold wallet, you just need to find your public key on the Terra Station where the cold wallet is logged in.

Then go to another wallet and you can transfer your UST, AUST, or DUNA.

The different tokens or coins on Terra are all using the same private key. Whether it's Ledger Live or Trezor Suite, they are all software used to manage your wallet's interface. As long as the wallet itself supports the currency, you can store their private key. But their official software doesn't necessarily support the currency interface itself. Every specific currency, detail, and user manual can be found on their official website. Finally, let's talk about which wallet is best. If you just google the best CryptoCode wallet,

The Nano X from Ledger is also the one I'm currently using. The Model T from Trezor are actually both similar. The security is currently the highest. Both of them support more than 1,000 mainstream encrypted currencies. They can also be sent directly to any country in the world by official website. Both brands are from Europe. Ledger is from France. Trezor is from Czech Republic. There is really no difference for ordinary users. It's just a personal preference. If you like to be more detailed,

So when your C-Phrase is still in your hand, and only you know it, your encrypted currency will be safe. Next, every time your cold wallet is connected to your computer, remember to update and install new hardware and software. Only continuous updates can ensure the safety of the product.
