PENCIPTAAN JAGAD RAYA DALAM PERSPEKTIF AL-QUR'AN DAN SAINS

Since centuries ago, from time to time, humans have always questioned the process of creating the universe. Starting from the simple question, then various theories about the creation of the universe were created. Among them, the most famous is the Big Bang Theory.

That is because of the existence of reason in humans. So in Islam there is a concept that reason is the one that differentiates from other beings. Therefore, the existence of reason is the key to understanding the creation of the universe as the life of humans themselves, as well as the way to recognize Allah as its creator. Then came the science.

Nevertheless, science is only a methodology that is organized based on human mind activities in an effort to understand, predict and explain the phenomena of this universe. Science is not an absolute truth. It continues to change and evolve from time to time along with the achievement of human mind in science when understanding every phenomena of the universe. This is the role of the Qur'an as a revelation from Allah SWT.

There are many clues and information in it that actually contain knowledge and phenomena that have just been proven by modern science. How vast is the knowledge of Allah that has been poured into the Holy Book for 14 centuries without being noticed by humans, even by Muslims themselves because of the limited development of knowledge at that time. Among the verses that indicate the relationship between the Qur'an and the importance of science is the statement of Allah:

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the time between night and day are signs for those who are in the midst of the worlds. Those who remember Allah while standing and sitting and on their sides and reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth.

The position of the celestial objects, the planet, the moon, the sun and the star's rays were previously used to predict the fate of mankind.

This knowledge is known as astrology. Then, the verse changed the view of astrology into astronomy in the Islamic era by inviting humans to constantly think about the creation of the universe. The position of celestial objects is science, but linking it to the fate of humans is pseudoscience or false science.

The celestial objects in astronomy include the mechanics and physics of celestial objects as well as their one-to-one relationship in the big-scale scenario of the universe.

The Qur'an states that the creation of the "Jagat Raya" includes the sky, the earth and all of its contents, takes place in six periods. In line with this information, the knowledge also states that the "Jagat Raya" as it is now, takes place through a very long process that allows it to be grouped into six periods. Thus, there is a harmony between the information of God and the explanation given by the scholars through their research and research.

At least, such information has been mentioned seven times. Among the verses that explain this is Surah Yunus, verse 3, which is the statement of Allah: "Indeed, your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then ascended to the throne, making the command.

Surah Al-Fatihah

The word "yaum" which means "day" in the verse is meant as a time frame or a creation period, not like the day that humans understand today. The day or time mentioned in this verse in the claim of religion is only known by Allah how long it is.

In the Qur'an, there are several information about this matter. There is a verse that says that one day in the presence of Allah is equal to a thousand years in human calculation. As the verse in Surah Al-Hajj verse 47 as follows: "And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of what you have been."

In another verse, it is explained that one day is equal to 50,000 years in human calculation. This explanation is as mentioned in Surah Al-Ma'arij verse 4 as follows: "The angels and the Spirit will come to him on a day that is of the measure of fifty thousand years."

According to Abdullah Yusuf Ali in The Holy Quran: Text, Translation and Commentary, the word "yaum" or the singular form of "ayam" is equated with the word in English "age" or "ayyan". While by Abdus Su'ud, a tafsir scholar of the 16th century, the word "yaum" is equated with the understanding of events or "naubat".

Paying attention to various opinions, it is clear that the word "yaum" is more accurate when translated as a stage or period or period. Thus, the sentence "fi sit tati ayam" in the verses is more accurate to be translated as "in six periods".

As an additional information that is equally interesting, the word "yaum" which means "day" is repeated 365 times in the Qur'an. That is very accurate with the number of days in a year. Is that a coincidence? Wallahu a'lam bis so'a

Referring to Surah An-Nazi'ah, Professor Thomas Jamaluddin in his book Exploring the Power of the Sky, going deep into the Qur'an, states that six days can mean six evolutionary processes, from the creation of the first universe to the creation of man as the last creature created by Allah. The process of this creation continues until now and does not stop at a certain stage.

So, if we look at the verses, they chronologically describe the six periods of creation as follows: The first period begins with verse 27: "Are you more powerful than the creation of the creation of the heavens?" "Is your creation greater than the creation of the heavens?"

This verse explains the creation of the universe with the Big Bang, which is a big explosion as the beginning of the birth of space and time including matter.

Based on the analysis of cosmological astronomy, a big explosion occurred about 13.7 meters years ago. The first creation is energy from photon particles. From photon particles, protons, neutrons, and electrons are formed, as well as other unknown particles. Science categorizes it as dark matter. From protons and electrons, hydrogen is formed as the first element that forms stars. The second time is continued in verse 28.

"He has elevated His building and perfected it." Quran Surah Al-Nazi'at verse 28 This verse explains the development of the universe, so that the objects of the sky are getting farther away, which in the general language means the sky is getting higher.

and then perfect it. In other words, the formation of the celestial object is not a process at all, but an evolutionary process, namely a gradual change from a cloud between stars to a star, then eventually dies and replaced by new star generations.

Astronomers believe that the universe is developing based on the analysis of the spectrum of elements in distant galaxies that move towards the longer waves that are getting bigger. The galaxy moves farther because of the universe's space that is developing. Is that in accordance with Allah's command? "And We have built the heavens by hand, and indeed, We are the Most Generous."

and the sky we built with our power and we really expanded it." Simply put, the beginning of the universe that was developing can be illustrated by the making of bread. The material for the bread was first collected in a small pile, then began to grow.

In other words, space in the inside of bread is developing. Analogized as a galaxy in the universe, particles in the bread are moving away from each other along with the development of the bread itself.

In the illustration, we are in one of the particles inside the bread. Outside the bread, we do not know the existence of another space because our knowledge is limited only to the space inside the bread. Likewise, we do not know another physical nature outside the dimension of the space-time that we know today. Allahu Akbar, how small and limited our knowledge is compared to all this world.

Next, the third time is mentioned in verse 29. "And He made the night dark and the day bright." This verse tells a story about the solar system that also happens on other stars.

This is the time of the creation of the sun that is shining and the earth and other planets that rotate so that there are phenomena of night and day. The existence of the sun as a source of light, the earth that rotates, makes it night and day. According to astronomical research, the solar system was formed about 4.5 billion years ago from the universe's interstellar.

Initially, the interstellar star is compacted while rotating, rotating on its core. The more compacted the middle part, the hotter it will be. When its temperature reaches tens of millions of degrees, it starts a nuclear reaction. Hydrogen fuses with hydrogen, producing helium and energy.

The part of the star's interstellar core becomes the sun which starts to radiate its energy. Slowly, the dust is hit by the sun's wind, while the dust that sticks around the sun then processes to form the planets, one of them is our earth. Then, the fourth time in verse 30, "And the earth after that has been destroyed,

and after that the earth was destroyed. Quran Surah Al-Naziat Verse 30 This verse explains the evolution process on the planet Earth. After the moon was formed from the crust of the earth because of the formation of other celestial objects, the big or flat earthen slabs were then destroyed, which made the continents separate, forming the five continents plus Antarctica.

The earth was thrown in the verse means the slope of the continent that shifts little by little in the time of hundreds of millions of years. About 225 million years ago, all continents were still combined. Then the American continent began to separate from the continent of Europe and Africa. Meanwhile, the Asian continent joined with the Indian-Australian slope that was separated from the African continent. Next, the fifth time, verse 31,

"He brought forth from it water and water-gathering plants" "From it He spread out the eyes of water and grew its growths" This verse explains the beginning of the creation of life on earth, and perhaps on other planets that are prepared for life by providing water.

The heating process that causes the eruption and formation of clouds, then the rain that causes the hydrology cycle that finally radiates the water. The Qur'an does not explain the initial process, but only explains the substance of the hydrological process related to the initial process of life, namely growing plants as the first living beings.

Life is estimated to start from a warm sea about 3.5 billion years ago based on the oldest fossil ever found. In the Qur'an Surah Al-Ambiya verse 30, it is mentioned that all living creatures come from water. Finally, life on earth begins with living creatures and growing plants.

Interestingly, the process of life born from plants is related to the scenario of Allah preparing life on earth. The presence of plants and the photosynthesis process about 2 billion years ago caused the atmosphere to fill with free oxygen. The presence of oxygen is needed by most living beings, namely animals and humans.

And finally, the sixth time is explained in the following two verses in Surah An-Nazi'at: "And the mountains are extended with a strong wind. All of that is for your pleasure and for your livestock."

This verse explains the birth of mountains due to the evolution of geology and began to be created by animals and humans. This sixth period tells the birth of animals and humans after the main living condition, namely the presence of water and oxygen, is fulfilled.

The geological process due to the movement of the mountain slopes that make up the mountains is also a physical preparation that gives balance to the movement of the earth. And this makes it possible for matter, which is the earth's content, to be released for human interest as a caliph on earth. Based on scientific findings obtained, an evolutionary cycle has been arranged that begins with a kind of single cell bacteria that lived about 3.5 billion years ago.

From the bacteria, the genus of the rod that is still alive in the water was born. The green rod about 1-2 billion years ago gave birth to the generation of land creatures. From the green rod route, about 630 million years ago, the generation of animals without bones was born. About the creation of the seven-layered sky, it is a phenomenon found in the Qur'an.

There are several verses that give information about this, among them is what is found in Surah Al-Mulk verse 3, namely: "Who created the seven heavens in one layer, "What do you see in the creation of the Most Gracious of the universe? "So return the sight, do you see any light?"

Understanding of the seven skies develops according to human understanding of the universe. In ancient European culture, people considered the sky to be layered with the earth as the center of the universe or geocentric. The moon is on the first sky, then on the second to seventh sky, each has Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Outside the seventh sky, there are other stars.

In the past, people also linked astrology or star practice, namely that the celestial objects related to the belief that the god of the ruler will influence life on earth, alternately from hour to hour, starting from the farthest. There are also those who think that the seven heavens are represented by layers of atmosphere close to this earth. However, if the theory is related to the Prophet's mi'raj, it seems inaccurate.

These seven skies may be more suitable if it is interpreted as seven dimensions of space-time. As stated in Physica, that in this planet there are four fundamental styles, namely electromagnetic, weak nuclear, strong nuclear, and gravitational.

If the Zaglain theory explains that in order to explain the unity of the four gays, then the geometry of the space-time that we are in now is not enough. To be able to explain the four gays, then this theory states that there must be seven dimensions of space-time or other time-space dimensions.

Then the journey of Isra and Mi'raj that was done by the Messenger of Allah was considered an interdimensional journey. This means that he was invited by Jibril to leave the dimension of time to a higher dimension, which is called Sidrotul Muntaha.

We live in the dimension of time and space because we always measure based on the size of space such as large, small, far, close and time such as past, now, future, long, moment and so on. To understand the journey between time, we are like there is a two-dimensional nature in the form of a large U. Just say the creature in the nature is a mosquito.

To move from one end of the U to the other, the ocean must be very far away. We who live in a 3-dimensional space can easily lift the ocean from one end to the other, bringing the ocean out of dimension 2 to dimension 3. The distance is clearly shorter.

Thus is the simple analogy of the journey between dimensions, the mechanism is certainly still outside the ability of science. But Allah has traveled his servant Rasulullah with Jibril, who is indeed outside the higher dimension of the dimension of time.

Scientists have proven how precisely this universe was created. Allah indicates that the universe is created in a very harmonious structure. Such information can be found in many verses in the Qur'an, including Surah Ar-Ra'at verse 2.

Allah is He who raised the heavens without a pillar that you may see, then He set it on the Throne and made the sun and the moon.

All will run for a appointed term, governing the matter, explaining the signs, that you may be certain of the meeting of your Lord.

This verse confirms a phenomenon that every sky object is as if it is lying in the middle of the horizon without any floating poles and without a rope tying it. Indeed, the sky objects seen in this nature exist without floating poles. If only the big objects needed poles to float, it can be imagined how beautiful this universe is.

Next, Allah also explains how He "shows the sun and the moon" in the sense of setting the conditions that include the function, rotation and revolution movements, or the movement on the porous and on its orbit that continues to occur, each according to the time set that has been determined. Likewise, when He explains the reality of the sun and the moon, Allah explains that indeed the sun is the one that has light, while the moon does not.

Therefore, the moon does not emit light at all times because this object only reflects the sunlight. Allah also explains how the moon moves in certain positions, which turns out to be a sign of time travel. In connection with such a structure, Allah informs in Surah Yunus verse 5,

Surah Al-Fatihah.

According to astronomy, the most important thing in making the sky stable is the gravity. Other types of gravity are not visible, but we can see and feel the effect.

In this way, the sun, the moon, and all the celestial objects move continuously around each other as if they are constantly laughing, as done by Muslims when performing Hajj and Umrah. Everything is followed by the laws of Allah that have been established. That is what is called the Sunnatullah.

In this verse, Allah's determination about the orbit line or the orbit that is controlled by the sun and the moon is also described. This is due to the emergence of the alternation of day and night, meaning that humans know the calculation of the year and the knowledge of the time, namely the knowledge of the calculation of time based on the position of the moon or the sun.

That is the determination of Allah to create this universe with full harmony and precision, then make humans in the life of the earth to become Caliphs. The obedience to the warning of Allah to keep this nature will bring goodness to the nature and humans.

However, there are many among humans who do not do this task as Allah wants. The result that can be seen is the phenomena that lead to the destruction and destruction of the universe. As Allah says, "There has been destruction on earth and in the sea because of the deeds of human hands." Allah wants them to feel part of their deeds so that they return to the right path.

Quran Surah Ar-Rum verse 41 Global warming and thinning of ozone layer are just the first examples that are often worried about the world today. There are many verses in the Quran that remind us of the magnitude of the destruction of this universe at the end of time. Among them, "When the earth is shaken to the point of magnitude and the mountain is destroyed, then it becomes dust that flies."

Quran Surah Al-Waqi'ah 4-6 In another verse, Allah also reminds us that when the sky is split, and when the stars fall into a gap, and when the sea is flooded, Quran Surah Al-Infator 1-3

According to the theory of star evolution, our sun will grow into a giant star, red before its death. At that time, the sun shines so brightly that the ocean will boil and dry, rocks will melt and life will be complete. Then the sun will continue to grow so that the planets around it such as Mercury, Venus, Earth and Moon, as well as Mars, enter the solar system.

Perhaps this incident is indicated in the Qur'an Surah Al-Qiyamah verse 7-9 as the same sun and moon. It is even very consistent with the hadith of the Prophet since 14 centuries ago. He, peace be upon him, said: "The sun will rise on the Day of Judgment from the creation until none of them can be able to see."

On the day of the Day of Judgment, the sun will be brought closer to the creature until it is only one mile away. Hadith from the Muslim Narration Indeed, a terrible destruction process has been remembered by Allah and His Messenger since the 14th century BC. Even before the science was really able to understand the structure of the universe and the solar system like modern times.

Only those who believe will be saved on that day. As Allah said, O mankind, believe in your Lord. Indeed, the clash of the Day of Judgment is a very terrible event. The Quran Surah Al-Hajj Verse 1 The Last Day will surely come at the will of its Creator. Indeed, all that is in this land of the world will perish except Allah the Creator. As Allah said,

"All things will be destroyed except Allah" Quran Surah Al-Qasas verse 88
