Hunting down Iguanas (angry Karen)
As many of you guys know, we have a lots
of invasive species in the state of
Florida. From iguanas to pythons to hogs
to parakeetses to her
out here.
>> There's a lot of invasive species in the
state of Florida. But today
specifically, we are focusing on the
iguanas down in South Florida. They are
everywhere. And let me tell you, today
is a terrible day to be an iguana cuz
[music] me and my buddy Python Cowboy
are teaming up to put an absolute beatd
down on these iguans. And Python cowboy
is famously known for removing invasive
species. And he removes just about
everything. So today's only mission is
remove as many iguanas as possible and
have as much fun as possible. But little
spoiler alert here. We do run into some
people that don't want us to have as
much fun as we are having.
>> We're about to have the cops call.
>> But before we go iguana hunting, I've
been promising Kayla to do a little home
makeover, a little redo, little little
spice at our house. And today, thanks to
Next Level Curbing, we were able to make
that happen. She's been bugging me
because our pool apparently doesn't have
any sunlight, which is crazy because
that doesn't even make sense to me. So,
she wanted concrete outside of the pool
cage so that she could get more sun. And
these guys were even working in the
pouring rain and they were puking
because it was so hot.
>> Good, good, good. Freaking hot.
>> Doing good work, man. What we do? The
>> concrete's about to go down. About to
have the pad. What do you think, K? I'm
>> excited.
I can tan forever now.
>> You know, I just want you to know there
were multiple people puking yesterday
because the heat index was about 110.
So, I really hope this tanning pad is
worth it [laughter]
cuz look, you put some people through
hell yesterday.
>> They were either puking or they were
drenched because [music] they were in
the rain. It was pretty brutal out
there. And usually I'm pretty good at
telling Kayla no, but I figured she was
due for some, I don't know, some
spoiling. And I got to stack up some
brownie points [music] for hunting
season. So, you know, she'll let me go
hunting. and so that we can go on this
iguana hunt cuz I keep leaving her.
Heck, man, they even threw me in to help
with the conquer. And all I got to say
is I will be keeping my day job because
this is brutal work and I respect
anybody who does it. Whan and his crew
came to my [music] house at 2:00 in the
morning to start working. Drove 2 and
1/2, maybe even 3 hours to get to the
job site. These guys are the hardest
working people I know and they did a
fantastic job putting down a new slab
for Kayla for her tanning pad, whatever
the hell that is, and help fix our pool.
These guys are great guys and I would
recommend them to do any concrete work
you would possibly need in the state of
Florida. Make sure you hit up Next Level
Curving to get all of your concrete work
done today. got a little bit south, just
a [music] little bit north of the
Georgia line. [singing]
[music]
>> And now that Kayla's got her brand new
concrete slab that she's been bugging me
about, it's time to go hunt down some
iguanas, which you all have been waiting
for.
>> Let's go stack some iguanas, baby.
>> All right, we're downtown. We're here to
take out the iguanas. My boy Mike Python
Cowboy, he called me up and said, "Dude,
we got an iguana problem. need you to
come shoot these things. So, goal for
this video, we have to try and shoot
more iguanas than we did last time,
which was 30. Other goal, I'm going to
try and make a purse out of all the
iguanas we shoot today for Kayla because
she's been asking me for one of those
expensive purses, and you know, I'm very
frugal. I don't like to spend money. So,
what we're going to do is try and make
one out of the iguana leather. We got
the Texas boys here. They know how to
shoot. We got some shooters on the boat.
Today's mission, take out as many
iguanas because they are destroying
Florida. And uh we're doing we're doing
God's work today.
>> [music]
>> My boys from Texas.
Nice to meet you, Mike.
>> These are our air guns we'll be using.
Treat them like a firearm. They're very
powerful. Uh the ones you'll be using
today are 25 caliber. They're
semi-automatic.
You'll have eight shots before we need
to reload y'all. You know, I'll have you
guys up on the front of the boat
shooting with the guns in your hands the
whole day. I've had a number of people
shoot the boat. I know y'all won't do
that. Just be careful.
>> Yes, sir.
>> Um, these iguanas are tough as hell.
They can take like 10 shots [music] to
the body and keep going. It's pretty
incredible. Aim for their head,
eyeballs, the sweet spot. Wait for me to
tell you to start shooting. Point them
out with a laser. If y'all see something
I don't see, you can set up on it. Be
like, "Hey, I got a lizard here." And
I'll either tell you to blast them or
I'll get you a safe angle where you can.
We got houses, roadways, but we just got
to be real careful. If you hear me yell,
hold your fire, stop shooting, that's
what I'll say is hold your fire. Uh
we're watching for the dog, you know,
all kind of adjust the magnification of
your scope like that. If it's blurry,
adjust your eyepiece. And if you're
shooting and all of a sudden it feels
like your gun's jammed up, pulling that
trigger, nothing's happening, pull that
lever, open the gun about that much,
close it, and keep shooting. Once you
relieve that tension, it should correct
itself, and you'll be good to go. It's
harder than it looks. Don't get
discouraged. Keep aiming for that head.
It is. We'll be good. Sound like a plan.
Never know what we'll see out here.
We've shot Nile monitors, hogs, coyote.
We come across some musci ducks or
Egyptian geese, we'll shoot them in the
head. We just got to be careful to do
our best to avoid Karens, but an
>> invasive species.
>> Get a life.
>> I'm sure we won't be able to in here.
>> Everybody ready? Everybody good? Yeah,
I'm put this thing in the water.
[music]
>> Somebody jump on. Yeah.
>> One thing Mike forgot to mention that we
will be also hunting today are New
Yorkers. And I Okay, that came out
wrong. I don't mean people. I mean the
pigeons. And I just imagine pigeons have
a New York accent. They talk like this.
And the the I just feel like I don't
know. I just feel like they're rude
animals. But they're invasive down here.
And um we're allowed to TAKE THEM OUT.
OH, [laughter] SON.
>> OH, [screaming] SHE GOT FIRE REAL QUICK.
Hold fire.
>> Oh, that's so sick.
>> Watch that lizard. There's one sitting
right there.
>> We're going to shoot him off this
bridge. Let me just get around and get
you situated. Sit up on that cooler,
y'all.
>> Watch out.
>> Bruce is already out of here.
>> There's
Oh, hit him again.
Get ready, Quadro.
>> Oh, he's bleeding.
>> He's bleeding.
>> Hold fire. Hold fire. Finish.
>> Yeah, he's bleeding real good.
>> I think y'all hit him where he can't
>> done the spiel on why cuz I don't think
you guys they don't really know why you
are trying to kill these iguanas.
>> Yeah.
>> The purpose of it.
>> Yeah. So, these iguanas, they're an
invasive species and as you can tell,
they've kind of infested South Florida
here. While they affect our native
wildlife a little bit, their main area
of negative impact is our
infrastructure. They dig these holes all
around these bridges, all along our
canal embankments, and they cost our
state millions of dollars every year.
And that's why the state has brought me
in to help manage them along. They
actually had a big excavator going along
an embankment about 6t tall. Whole
embankment gave way because all the
iguana holes rolled the machine and the
guy into the canal and it could have
been a serious problem. Luckily, he was
okay. But it just goes to show how they
undermine all the all them structures in
that canal embangment.
>> He's like dark gray.
>> Make it count, boys.
>> Nice shot.
>> Hit him again.
>> Oh yeah.
>> Hit him in that head.
>> Oh, that was good.
>> Hold fire. Hold fire. Hold fire,
>> boys. That's a good
Woo boy.
>> [music]
[music]
>> Yeah, I got mine.
[music]
>> Rooster has one iguana. Uzi's about to
have one iguana. Uh-oh. Iguana sees dog.
>> Kill that. Oh no.
>> Somebody get ready.
>> All right. You ready? This
>> Y
[music]
>> that tail tail.
>> Good.
>> Grab him quick.
>> I don't want to grab him by the tail cuz
then he's going to turn on. I'm a [ __ ]
I'll say it. That was sometimes they're
going to try to scratch you and not
bite. I bitched out there, dude. I had
to
>> in there. Have a shot. Take it.
>> Yeah, go ahead.
>> You gone.
>> And after only taking out two iguanas,
well, somebody didn't like that we were
having some fun and they made sure we
knew it.
Please come away. You're going to make
the dog eat them.
>> Here we go.
>> Please. Please.
>> You can take pictures. I don't
>> What's that?
>> How we doing?
>> Not good.
>> Good.
>> What are you doing?
>> What's that?
>> What are you doing?
>> Uh, we're fishing and removing iguanas.
>> We don't want you to move remove ouras.
>> Okay. Well, you you don't make the rules
for the canal, ma'am. I work for the
state.
>> Can I see?
>> I I don't have to show anything.
>> Yeah, you do.
>> I don't though. You can take a picture
of me. My name's Mike Kimmel. I'm known
as Python Cowboy. Company is Martin
County Tra.
>> You have a a lovely day.
>> Please don't remove any of them from
this area.
>> Why do Why do you not want me to remove
an invasive species?
>> Because they live here now.
Ma'am, they're they're invasive. Them
living here's a problem.
>> After the person that brought them here
in the8s, why is that person still
around?
>> Uh, ma'am, that wouldn't help us today.
What would help us today is actually
removing the problem.
>> I appreciate your input.
>> What have you got to do in here? You
have no license. I
>> I do though. I'm licensed by the state
and I don't need a license to do it
anyway. It's an invasive species. Do you
have a license to walk your dog on that
sidewalk?
>> I don't need a license to walk a dog.
>> Well, exactly. Then you and me are in
the same boat. You have a nice day.
>> Murderers.
>> What do you call murderers?
>> Murderers.
>> That was awesome. That Hey, that was
great.
>> All right, boys. I got to give a quick
shout out to today's sponsor, and that
is Resilient Suppressors. Okay, they
make some amazing suppressors. I've got
suppressors for my 38. I've got
suppressors for [music] the 22. They
make anything and everything. These guys
are veterans based out of Jacksonville.
All the suppressors they make are made
out of Jacksonville, Florida. For me, I
don't like stuff just sitting in the
safe, right? [music] So, some
suppressors only work for one specific
gun. This suppressor right here can work
for multiple rifles, pistols. [music]
It's really super versatile, right? I
hate when stuff is just sitting in the
safe attached to one gun. What I really
love about Resilience Suppressors is you
get [music] performance for your dollar,
right? These are some high quality
suppressors. and dude, put them through
the ringer and they will show you. They
will pull the test of time. I I promise
[music] you that. So, if you guys want
to check out Resilient Suppressors, all
their products are available through
Silencer Shop. And thank you again to
Resilient Suppressors for sponsoring
today's video.
That's [music] scary quiet, just how I
like it.
[music] Resilient Express also sent me
one for my 22. And this thing right here
is dangerous. It was supposed to be
Kayla's gun, but Oh, I like it a little
more [music] than she does. So,
that's scary, dude. That's really scary.
>> I had some lady come out one time,
Spanish lady comes out and she's like,
"Oh, I love the iguanas, please." And
like I'm just in like normal work mode.
So, like I'm talking to her, not
thinking. I just do what like is natural
to me. I grab the iguana. I shoot it in
the head like I did, but right in front
of her. And dude, she [screaming]
like screamed like I just shot a child,
dude. I was like, we got the hell out of
there.
>> Oh [ __ ]
>> And just when I thought one Karen was
going to be enough for the day, no.
Things only get worse throughout [music]
this entire video. They don't understand
that these animals are not supposed to
be here and that they're ruining our
ecosystem and infrastructure. And we're
actually doing a good thing by taking
them out. I know it's kind of brutal,
but this is what has to be done to keep
the numbers under control. Nice. Got one
in the body.
>> Make it count.
>> Keep hitting them.
>> Hit the same one until it's dead.
>> I think we're out. You're out.
>> Hold fire, boys. Hold fire, boys.
>> Come on.
>> Yeah, she's out there.
>> That was awesome.
>> Out of all the hunts I do, this is
always the most stressful. Oh, I bet.
Oh, I didn't like that.
>> You got people with firearms. You got
people everywhere.
top.
>> Oh,
go get
[music]
a second. You got a second right there.
Look at that. That's how it got away
from her that first time. You got it by
the tail. It broke off.
>> Luckily, their heads don't grow back.
>> Little Florida culture shock.
>> Want to count is four.
>> So, I I took uh Trump Jr. to a spot I
don't take a lot of people. It's
residential like this. He brought his
own air guns and his air guns aren't
taped up like mine, so they they look
like sniper rifles. 2 days after a mass
shooting on top of that. So, we're out
there cruising. We're stacking iguanas
up and I see a sheriff boat calling out
to us. Four guys on front, couple dudes
on the back, all black, bulletproof
vest, AR-15s out, swat across the chest,
and I'm like, "Boys, this ain't a
Karen." Like, get ready. You know, Trump
Trump Junior's got a face buff on.
>> Oh my god.
>> And he pulls it down. He looks back at
me and my mate. He's like, "Watch this."
Sure as Dude, when they seen it was
Junior, the whole mood change, dude.
holding up iguanas for him, asking for
autographs. But here's the craziest
part. That was a few years ago, just
like three months ago. I took out one of
the dudes that came on that hunt with
Junior and he was telling me that he was
at Shot Show and one of his buddies came
up with this big guy and he gets to
talking with the big guy. Turns out he's
a Broward County SWAT member. He's like,
"You know what? I was out there and
y'all came up on me and Junior one day."
He's like, "I thought you looked
familiar." Yes. He was on shore with a
sniper rifle.
>> Oh my.
>> And he said he had his crosshairs on
that dude's because he could see he was
imprinting a pistol in his waistband. He
was concealed carrying. He's like,
"Dude, I was about to shoot everybody in
that boat."
>> Oh.
>> But luckily everything went good.
>> So, you know, the story went from crazy
and it got a little crazy.
>> That is you were with Junior. Out of all
people, that's the crazy part.
>> Thank God. It's one thing we have
sheriffs come up on us all the time and
dude they know us. They say hi to the
dog and know the dogs by name. But SWAT
is a whole different story. [music]
[music]
Six iguanas
[music]
ready.
>> [music]
>> That lady. Yeah, that was the funniest
thing. She didn't even see Mike in the
water. She just saw five boys just
sitting in the boat.
>> The water. She was like,
>> "Oh, dude." She's mortified. She's like,
"Oh, they're they're real Florida."
>> It's a swamp thing.
>> She saw the dog shaking it. You're
letting the dogs eat them. [music]
>> We got nine in the boat, baby.
>> Come here, T. Dogs. putting in some
work. Texas Sports putting in some work.
>> We need to get it dialed in. We're We're
slacking a little bit.
>> Harder than it looks on YouTube.
>> Oh, for sure. [music]
>> Dude, these We don't have rats here. We
just have iguanas. Like they're just
rats,
>> dude. Holy pigeons, man.
>> Double up.
>> My safety is all right. We're good.
Whenever. Two. One.
Oh,
>> we didn't even coordinate. We didn't
even coordinate which one you're
shooting. Dude,
>> that was sick.
>> Are you kidding? [laughter]
>> What?
>> Something's wrong with the gun.
>> I think I'm low on air.
>> I'm low on air.
After stacking up quite a few iguanas
and knocking out some pigeons, it was
time to go back into the swamp, back
into the deeper part of the canal where
something was waiting for us, something
we were not expecting today. Something
that goes by the name of Carrie and she
woke up on the wrong side of the bed
today and she [music] chose violence.
We'll just leave it at that. She called
us some names that we can't even put on
YouTube. Don't worry, we'll show the
whole conflict. We just have to bleep
out the words she called us cuz they
were naughty. She was an angry Karen. A
naughty Karen, if you will.
>> What does that mean?
>> I don't know.
>> Right after we just put eight shots in
the
>> I can't I cannot hear you.
>> I said they're very poisonous.
>> They're They're poisonous.
>> Yeah.
>> No, they're not.
>> No, ma'am. They're not. They're good to
eat. They're not bad.
>> Good. See you later.
>> Yes, sir. Yes, ma'am. You have a good
good day.
>> See you later. Hi.
>> Are you going inside?
>> Oh, okay. Well, we'll be hang we're
going to be doing our thing around here.
You have a nice day, though.
>> I know. Go around.
>> She's still yapping.
>> What's she doing?
>> Water on there.
>> Excuse me. Get the [ __ ] out of here. I
don't want you shooting a gun on my
property. Go.
>> Okay. Ma ma'am, you do not own the
canal. I'm allowed to fish and remove
iguanas out here
>> over here.
>> Okay. You have a nice Don't It's not
worth getting yourself all upset, ma'am.
>> Okay, you can call them. Give them my
name.
[music]
>> What' you say?
>> Jackass, I think a jackass.
>> That's what I heard. [laughter]
>> I've been called a lot of things.
>> Yeah, he doesn't care.
>> Take first shot. your back up.
I'll shoot you.
[music]
[music]
There's two more. Three more. There's a
whole family in that boat.
[music]
>> Poisonous to dogs. She said they're
poison.
>> Shut her up real quick. dogs and the
amount of guanas they've seen in their
lifetime is more than she's ever even
laid eyeballs on. Dude,
>> oh, here we go, boys. This is how we
really going to make her mad. There's a
visco duck under here.
>> Oh, man. Look at all steam on that one.
>> Make it count. Get it right.
>> Two shooters.
>> You ready?
>> Yeah, I'm on it. I'm on a backup.
>> Whenever [music] Whenever you're ready.
>> [music]
>> And now he's going to go limp into that
lady's yard.
>> Good [music] dog.
>> She's watching. She's watching.
>> Good dog.
>> Oh, it's over now.
>> Here.
catching
the
>> We're about to have the cops call on
this. The first time this has ever is
she on the phone.
>> She's just standing there staring.
>> All right.
>> Hell yeah.
>> Speed. I'm leaving.
>> Go take the pictures right in front of
her house. Thumbnail with the Karen in
it. We
>> Oh my god. We are just getting great
content today. I really hope the audio
is able to be picked up on that.
>> Keep going.
Okay. You sure told me.
>> Babe, you don't own this canal. I don't
tell you what to do in your house.
>> Doesn't matter. THIS IS MY [ __ ] LIST.
>> So what? This is where I work. I work
for the state. It's an invasive species.
>> Get a lie.
>> What you say? I hope your dogs die or
some [ __ ] I felt like
>> and as we make our final loop through
the canal, total count here is about 13
iguanas, couple handful of pigeons, one
duck, and two Karens. We have a mixed
bag, gentlemen. We are killing it today.
Literally. Also, Mr. Python Cowboy was
nice enough to bless us with some aguana
facts that I did not know or [music] I
don't know if I wanted to know these
anyway, but um pretty interesting to say
the least.
>> So, another fun fact is iguanas have two
peckers. You thought one pecker got you
in trouble. Imagine having two of them.
>> Oh, dude. Dang.
>> Three heads.
>> Such a problem down here.
>> They're down here slanging that double
D. That's for sure. For insertion and
the other one they slap the female
iguana in the face with it. What?
[laughter]
>> Bro, there's no there's no way that's
real.
>> That's what I was.
>> Okay.
>> How do you How does he know?
All right.
>> I knew my brother back there would clean
up after me.
>> Watch. Whenever this one comes back in,
I head shot.
>> See, his aim came back. He just took
[music] 40 rounds.
>> Oh, he went side. He He's like He saw
the pigeon and he went [laughter]
>> Steve. [music]
No switch on this thing.
[laughter]
>> One of his dick. He shot him in one of
the dicks. That's why they got two.
>> Well, we put a beaten down on the canal
today and we also had a interesting
Karen experience. I will say two
interesting Karen experiences. Well,
boys, after that iguana hunt, I'm
feeling pretty good. In fact, I feel
like I have two peckers myself. It was
an awesome day and those cars didn't
slow us down. on to the next. I'll see
you guys next week.
